Privacy policy.

Moriya Works is a one-person software studio — a sole proprietorship registered in Malaysia (No. Pendaftaran: 202603164785 (CT0165913-P)). This page explains what personal data I handle and how, under Malaysia's Personal Data Protection Act 2010 (PDPA). The short version: this site collects nothing on its own, and whatever you share with me stays private and is never sold.

Data collected

This website has no contact forms, user accounts, cookies or analytics. The only personal data I process is what you choose to send by emailing hello@moriyaworks.com — your email address, your name if you give it, and whatever your message contains.

What it's used for

Only to reply to you and to carry out any work that comes from the conversation. Nothing else — no advertising, no profiling, and you won't land on a mailing list unless you explicitly ask to.

Disclosure

Your personal data is never sold, rented, traded or passed to third parties. If a project ever genuinely requires involving someone else, I'll ask you first.

Client data handled during projects

Some projects mean I touch your systems or the personal data of your customers. Where that happens, I act on your instructions as a data processor: I use that data only to do the agreed work, keep it confidential, take practical steps to protect it as the PDPA requires, and delete or hand back what I hold when the work ends. I never sell or repurpose it. Responsibility for your own systems, backups and your obligations to your customers stays with you — the details are in the terms & conditions.

Storage and security

Email correspondence stays in my mailbox for as long as it's reasonably needed for the purposes above, and isn't shared unless Malaysian law requires it.

Your rights

Under the PDPA you can ask what personal data I hold about you, have it corrected, or withdraw consent and have it deleted. Just email hello@moriyaworks.com — I'll handle it within a reasonable time.

Third-party links and other products

This site links out to Rimba (rimba.run) — my own product, which has its own privacy policy published at rimba.run covering data inside that app — and to independent services like Buy Me a Coffee, which run under their own policies that I don't control.

Changes to this policy

If this policy changes, the new version goes up on this page with an updated date.
